Whitechapel Mesa Concert reviews
Regina was so lovable!
Regina's show was very much like her music. She was open, honest, refreshing, and a little quirky. Little Joy opened for her and they played a few folky upbeat songs. The House of Blues was a nice smallish venue. I think the best part of her show was when her piano died for a few minutes. Overall they were a good precursor to Whitechapel. While the tech guy was fixing it she sang a song a cappella. It was one I hadn't heard before about blue eyes and what eyes say about a person. (it might have been on her newest album which I don't have...) She sang it so beautifully that I was actually sad when the piano was up and working! I would only change the fact that there is virtually NO seating so you will definitely be tired of standing when you leave! We were on the 2nd floor and due to the standing room only thing, it can be hard to get an unobstructed view. I was only sad that she didn't sing Better.
